The November 5, 2019 election in Multnomah County is a local Special Election. There are local ballot measures on the ballot. Only eligible voters that live within the boundaries of the local districts holding elections will receive a ballot. The districts on the ballot are the City of Portland, City of Troutdale, Metro, Portland Public School District and Sauvie Island Fire District.

    • Aug 16 - Deadline for Special District or County to file notice of ballot title with County Elections for publication
    • Sept 5 - Measure filing deadline (completed and noticed).
    • Sept 9 - Voters' Pamphlet deadline for measure arguments
    • Sept 13 - Measure arguments become public record and are available on website.
    • Sept 20 - Military/overseas ballots mailed.
    • Oct 7 - Out of state ballots mailed
    • Oct 9 - 12 - Voters' Pamphlet mailed (one per residential household)
    • Oct 15 - Voter registration deadline
    • Oct 16 - 22 - Ballots mailed to voters
