As a business owner, the Mt. Hood Hearing Aid Clinic, a father of two children in Gresham's Public schools, Clear Creek Middle School, and a Gresham resident home owner, I have a lot of reasons to be involved.

I will listen and serve the citizens of Gresham.

As your voice on the Gresham City Council, I will address the important issues facing Gresham such as:

• Gresham's continued growth and expansion;

• New business and job opportunities for our citizens;

• Protecting our parks and the natural beauty of Gresham

• Smaller classroom sizes in our public schools and providing the funding needed for school programs;

• Safety issues and traffic concerns.

• Helping our Police and Fire Departments by providing the support and funds needed;

• Using our taxpayers money wisely.

• Affordable housing for low income families.

Like the citizens of Gresham, I want to keep Gresham, Oregon the best place in the world to live and raise a family.

I ask for your vote. Thank you.

AS YOUR COUNCILOR

I feel that with 38 years of Management and Engineering experience I can make sound decisions to help guide Gresham into our future growth periods. We must balance our tax dollars and human resources to provide for Emergency and Environmental Services while still providing for our parks and community centers.

I am concerned for the strength and safety of our neighborhoods. We must continue to give our Police, Fire Fighters, and Emergency Response Teams our utmost support to guarantee proper staffing for the protection of all our citizens and businesses.

I will continue to support our Citizens Advisory Committees and Gresham Neighborhood Associations and encourage their greater participation in Council decisions.

New developments must fit within the parameters of the immediate community.

I am concerned about the livability within Gresham. We must support the development of more parks and community centers. It is important to the citizens of all ages to have permanent locations for recreational and social events.

I am concerned about our transportation problems. We must encourage Tri-Met to expand the North-South routes within the Gresham and surrounding area.

With the increased population and higher housing densities within Gresham we must look at all possible ways to improve our road systems. Crowded roads and long waits at traffic lights are problems that must be addressed.

Thank you for your vote
