Online Voters' Pamphlet May 16, 2000 Primary Election

Metro Council Map - May 2000

Dear Multnomah County Voter:

You are about to receive your ballot in the mail; there are a few things you should know:

Voted ballots MUST be received at our office or drop site location by 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 16, 2000 to be counted.

If you are registered as a democrat, you will receive a ballot containing the democratic candidates, the non-partisan candidates and measures. You will also receive the democratic precinct committeeperson ballot.

If you are a registered as a republican, you will receive a ballot containing the republican candidates, the non-partisan candidates and measures. You will also receive the republican precinct committeeperson ballot.

If you are registered other than a major party, you will receive a ballot containing the non-partisan candidates and measures.

If you are registered as non-affiliated and requested a democratic ballot, you will receive a ballot containing the democratic candidates (except President), the non-partisan candidates and measures.

Multnomah County has produced a county voters' pamphlet since 1990. Our voters' pamphlet includes cities and districts (candidates, measures and measure arguments) that would not otherwise appear in the state voters' pamphlet.

Not all the candidates or measures in this voters' pamphlet will be on your ballot. Your residence address determines those cities and districts for which you may vote. Your ballot can guide you in using the voters' pamphlet.

Not all candidates submitted information for the voters' pamphlet.
