Overview

The Foster Grandparent Program is currently recruiting volunteers to serve as mentors and tutors in Multnomah County, Washington County, and Clackamas County!

Foster Grandparents are volunteers 55 years and older who:

You serve at local organizations:

  • Help children learn to read and provide one-on-one tutoring
  • Mentor teenagers and young parents
  • Care for premature infants or children with disabilities
  • Help children who have experienced abuse or neglect

You stay active and earn a non-taxable stipend as a tutor and mentor to children and youth in your community!. We do the rest by:

The Foster Grandparent Program is a national Senior Corps program with the Corporation for National and Community Service
