Most emergency plans are updated over a pre-determined set of time (annually, every 5 years, etc). When plans are being updates, public comment is often sought in order to gain additional insight or feedback on each plans' contents.
- Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (2017): This plan creates a framework for risk-based decision-making to reduce future loss of life and impacts to people, property, natural systems and the economy.
