The Oregon Public Records Law (OPRL) allows any person to inspect or request copies of any non-exempt public records. To obtain police, jail or court records, you must direct your records request to the agency that created the record.
Police Reports
Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office:
For police reports, arrest reports, background checks, address checks, police contacts with an individual, proofs of civil service, etc., generated by sheriff’s deputies, submit a public records request online through the Multnomah County Public Records Center portal.

Portland Bureau of Emergency Communications:
For 911 call records, call audio, computer-aided dispatch records and notes, etc., submit a public records request online, contact the Portland Bureau of Emergency Communications (BOEC).
Court Records
Multnomah County Circuit Court:
For court records related to criminal, civil, divorce, probate, or family court matters, etc., contact the Multnomah County Circuit Court Records Department.
