The Climate Justice Plan (CJP) is our community's roadmap to a just and resilient future. Centered around and guided by 12 goals, the CJP was developed in partnership with community-based organizations and local government staff. The CJP illustrates a shared belief that climate justice is possible.

You can directly influence the strategies and actions in the Climate Justice Plan that will shape our future by sharing what you think of the draft plan. To provide feedback:

Earth Day Webinar: Shaping Multnomah County's Climate Justice Plan!

Join us this Earth Day, April 22nd, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM for a virtual webinar focused on the draft of Multnomah County's Climate Justice Plan. This is a critical opportunity for all community members to directly influence the future of climate action in our county and ensure that climate action is equitable and just.

What to expect:

  • Learn about the draft Climate Justice Plan: Gain a better understanding of the proposed strategies designed to address climate change and its disproportionate impacts on vulnerable communities within Multnomah County.
  • Ask questions: Ask about the content of the plan and gain greater clarity on why and how of the plan.
  • Provide your feedback: Your voice matters! This webinar is specifically designed to solicit your insights and perspectives on the plan. Share your thoughts on the proposed actions, identify potential gaps, and suggest improvements.
  • Hear about community priorities: Discover the key concerns and priorities identified by fellow Multnomah County residents regarding climate justice.
