TRAFFIC ALERT: The Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all pedestrian, bike and vehicle traffic from 3 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. The bridge will close again on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 3 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday. The bridge will be closed for bearing inspection cap work on the East tower. Users should use alternative routes.
