Multnomah County, Ore. (Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025) — Election Day is next Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. Voters have two ways to return their ballots:
- Return your ballot to any elections office in Oregon or Official Ballot Drop Site location by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
- Return your ballot by mail — no stamp needed! Oregon law requires all elections offices to count any mailed ballot postmarked on or before Election Day and also arrives within seven days of Election Day.
Multnomah County Elections recommends mailing your ballot no later than Thursday, Oct. 30, to ensure it is postmarked and received by an election office in time to count. Voters who plan to mail their ballots closer to Election Day are encouraged to request a manual postmark at their local USPS office. Check hours and locations before you go.
Make a plan to ensure your ballot is postmarked by — or better yet, before — Election Day.
All Multnomah County Official Ballot Drop Sites are listed at multco.us/dropsites, which also includes links to official ballot drop sites in Clackamas and Washington counties. Official Ballot Drop Site information can also be found in the Multnomah County Voters’ Pamphlet and an interactive map of the County’s drop sites.
REMINDER: The Nov. 4, 2025, Special Election includes just two ballot measures: one for the City of Portland and one for the Lake Oswego School District. To learn more about this election, visit multnomahvotes.gov.
