Nov. 3, 2026: Election Day Information in Multnomah County

Preliminary unofficial election results will be posted at multnomahvotes.gov starting at 8 p.m. tonight. All ranked choice voting results can be found at: rcvresults.multco.us.

Multnomah County, Ore. (Nov. 3, 2026) — Today, Nov. 3, 2026, is the last day to vote in the General Election. Ballots must be received at any county elections office in Oregon or an Official Ballot Drop Site location by 8 p.m. tonight, or mailed and postmarked by today, Nov. 3, 2026, and received within seven days to count.

Voters can use any Official Ballot Drop Site, as well as any Multnomah County Library Book Drop, to safely and securely return their ballots. Find your nearest Official Ballot Drop Site in Multnomah County by visiting multco.us/dropsites or by using the interactive drop site map. Ballots are continuously picked up at official drop sites by teams of sworn election officials throughout the day.

Voters can also return their ballots to any Official Ballot Drop Site in the state. These sites will close promptly at 8 p.m. tonight.

Elections officials thank those who have already voted — and urge anyone who hasn’t returned their ballots yet to make a plan to return their ballot as soon as possible: before 8 p.m. Voting earlier helps reduce any congestion around ballot drop sites later in the day and allows your ballot to be accepted and counted sooner, too.

Preliminary Unofficial Election Results

Preliminary unofficial election results will be posted at multnomahvotes.gov starting at 8 p.m. tonight and will follow this schedule. Multnomah County Elections typically processes and releases results for roughly half of all expected ballots on Election Day. That percentage typically climbs to 90% by the Thursday after Election Day.

Remember that Multnomah County’s rcvresults.multco.us website is the only place where ranked choice voting results for City of Portland and Multnomah County candidate contests will be available.

Voters can also explore Multnomah County’s interactive dashboard for updates on voter turnout, the number of ballots returned, returns by precinct, and even a breakdown of ballots returned by mail or Official Ballot Drop Site.

Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service

All registered voters in Multnomah County should have received their ballots by Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026. Multnomah County voters who have not received a ballot can call the Elections Office or go online and obtain a new ballot through Elections’ convenient Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service. With high service demand typical on Election Day, the Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service can help reduce wait times.

Voters who use the service can shorten an in-person visit to pick up their replacement ballot at either of Elections’ two voter service sites: the Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building in Southeast Portland (1040 S.E. Morrison St., Portland) and the Voting Center Express in Gresham (600 N.E. 8th St., Gresham, inside the Multnomah County East Building).

Elections Office and Voting Center Express open until 8 p.m. tonight

The Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building in Southeast Portland and the Voting Center Express in Gresham are open until 8 p.m. tonight. Elections staff are available for questions or any other elections related help.

Voters who need assistance in a language other than English can also get help in their preferred language.
