Project Description
We are planning repairs to the hillside above SE Gordon Creek Road, 2.1 miles south of SE Hurlburt Road. The hillside has become unstable, and the road has been closed numerous times after material from the hillside has fallen and blocked traffic.
These repairs will prevent or limit material from falling on the road. This will help keep the road accessible and save our maintenance crews from the need for emergency response.
Design work is fully funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
Traffic Impacts
The road is currently open. There may be temporary lane closures while crews perform surveys.
Traffic impacts during construction are to be determined.
