There are NO smoke emergencies or active wildfires in Multnomah County at this time.
The 211info contact center remains open for extended hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. through at least Friday, Aug. 14, to help Oregonians find wildfire and clean air information and resources for things like evacuation updates, wildfire and clean air shelter information, livestock resources, reentry and preparedness.
Please note this page will be updated:
- If there is a smoke emergency in Multnomah County due to poor air quality from wildfires.
- To share information about any evacuations from active wildfires in Multnomah County.
Respiratory symptoms are common to wildfire smoke exposure. These include dry cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing and chest pains.
- Contact your healthcare provider/doctor if you are experiencing symptoms.
- If you have a medical emergency from smoke, you should call 911 or go to the hospital emergency room immediately.
