Event description
Join our fourth annual breastfeeding and maternal health town hall. This year, we’re focusing on mental health. Our bodies and our minds go through huge changes both during and after pregnancy. This can mean big feelings, including sadness, anxiety and postpartum depression.
You’ll learn practical ways to support mental health and help families flourish throughout their parenting journey.
Our featured speaker is Patrícia Soriano Guzmán, a practitioner and leader of perinatal care. She’ll share her holistic, family-centered care approach to strengthening birthing, bonding and family well-being.
This is a free event.
Hosted by Multnomah County WIC, REACH, and Healthy Birth Initiatives for World Breastfeeding Week to raise awareness about ways we can support birthing families.
