Project Description
We are repairing the NE Marine Drive overpass over 223rd Avenue after it was damaged by a truck on October 1.
The impact knocked chunks of concrete loose and spread cracks throughout the concrete girders. We provided temporary protection measures to re-open 223rd as quickly as possible, but now we need to repair the damaged sections for a permanent fix.
The repairs are being paid for from Road Capital Funds, but we are pursuing an insurance claim to reimburse us for the cost.
Traffic Impacts
223rd is closed at Marine Drive for three to four weeks.
Traffic will be redirected by signs to detour routes across the Fairview area.
