Project Description

We added speed reader signs at two places on NW Germantown Road, west of Skyline Boulevard. Both places received two signs, one facing each way. The signs show drivers their own speed as well as the speed limit.

We also added rumble strips to warn of curves at the triangle section near 14300-14600 NW Germantown.

This section of Germantown has a high rate of crashes due to speed. Several crashes were due to drivers crossing the center line on signed curves. The signs will remind drivers to take it slow.
