People's Farmers Market
Sunday from June through November 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the East County Courthouse lot 18480 SE Stark St 97233 in Rockwood
With support from Multnomah County, Play Grow Learn runs the People's Farmers Market (PFMR) in Rockwood. This community market hosts over 25 local BIPOC growers and business owners selling fresh produce, honey, clothes, jewelry, food, and more. Community members can also learn about services and programs available to them. The market accepts SNAP and double-up food bucks and often has other incentives for shoppers.
Become A Vendor at the PFMR
Local BIPOC businesses are encouraged to apply for the People's Farmers Market in Rockwood. There is no participation or application fee for vendors but we may charge a fee to use market set up supplies (tables, chairs, etc.). Organizations that provide free or low-cost resources or culturally specific programming for Black and Brown communities are also welcome to table.
The PFMR is part of a shared commitment from Multnomah County REACH and Play Grow Learn to increase healthy food access in Black and Brown communities of East County. As such, the market accepts multiple forms of payment and opportunities for shoppers to increase their purchasing power. Learn more and apply to the People's Farmers Market.
