REACH's nutrition strategy focuses on addressing health disparities in the Black American and African immigrant and refugee communities through food access and nutrition education. We work collaboratively with various community organizations to pool our collective expertise and skills in service of our focus populations. Our mission is to uplift the Black and African communities in Multnomah County through culturally responsive nutrition programming and policy changes.
Focus Areas
- Partner with community based organizations to make healthy foods more accessible to community members.
- Promote healthy eating through culturally responsive nutrition education
