  • Location: NW Rocky Point Road, 1500’ south of Hwy 30 (map)
  • Schedule: Construction begins mid-August
  • Estimated Cost: $450,000
  • Funding Source: Local Funds

Project Description

We will remove and replace a failed culvert that is causing a sinkhole next to NW Rocky Point Road. The current 18” culvert will be replaced with a 24” culvert to reduce the chance of future road failure.

Traffic Impacts

Construction is scheduled to begin mid- August.

Rocky Point will be fully closed to all traffic at the culvert location for up to 30 days.

Traffic will be detoured to NW Logie Trail and NW Skyline Blvd to reach Rocky Point south of the closure. Local access will be preserved for properties west of the work area.

Mountain Bike Access

The Rocky Point Mountain Bike Trail Network will be accessible by bicycle, but the road will be closed to cars and trucks. Trails users may enter from the west end of Rocky Point Road, at Skyline Boulevard.

Please ride carefully - heavy equipment will be working in the area.
