  • Support the college administration, faculty and staff efforts to provide a comprehensive community college for district citizens
  • Establish joint partnerships with business and industry to provide training for future and current employees
  • Provide early collegiate opportunities for local high school students
  • Promote articulation agreements between colleges and universities so transfer students transition smoothly to four year institutions
  • Support local government and business organizations in economic development by providing educational training and customized services

As a business owner, retired college instructor and active MHCC board member, I will continue my efforts to provide educational services while focused on fiscal responsibility and accountability. I will work to keep tuition costs contained so all students will have an opportunity to continue their education. I will continue to work collaboratively with statewide organizations, state legislators and local officials to insure MHCC has a funding level that protects our community's investment and essential educational services.
