Livability is the primary goal to maintain our small town feeling. The city has played a major role to that end. The council voted to construct a parking lot on the north side thus spurring development on the main street. Utilities were put underground, decorative street lamps were installed and street trees were planted. Mayors Square is the focal point of the pride we have for our city.

During my tenure on city council, we upgraded most of the parks in our system. Our parks program is comprehensive and serves all age groups.

Through council action, we rejected additional streets connecting to 257th as well as having streets cutting through residential areas that would create safety hazards.

We need to maintain greenspaces and expand parks before the opportunity has passed us by. I spearheaded a project that will culminate in the acquisition of sixty acres behind our community college that will be added to our greenspace program. No development can occur in this area.

I will continue to work diligently for the livability of our city by continued expansion of our greenspaces and parks. As a matter of safety, it is also critical to complete sidewalks and provide better street lighting in and near schools.

Another priority of mine has been and will continue to be, maintaining a fully staffed and well-trained police department.

I ask for your vote and support for re-election to the Troutdale City Council.
