Shared Districts with Candidate Filing Office in Another County
Some voting districts are "shared" and have voters in more than one county. Candidates only file their candidacy with their position's designated filing officer (county where the district's administrative office is located; city elections official; Dept. of Agriculture, Oregon Secretary of State). After the filing period ends, filing officers certify the list of filed candidates to the county elections officials in counties that have district voters.
