A committee will meet Friday, March 4, to begin making rules for tobacco retail licenses in Multnomah County. This includes the amount of the annual fees, fines, penalty processes and other details.

February 23 open house offers update on courthouse construction
The public is invited to an open house on Thursday, February 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. to learn about the final design and construction plan for the new Multnomah County Central Courthouse.
Board acts: County will require licenses to sell tobacco, vaping products
The county will begin issuing licenses to businesses that sell tobacco and vaping products in July 2016. Enforcement is expected to begin in January 2017.
County hosts two open houses, survey on central courthouse project
The purpose of the open houses is to share information with the public and solicit public comments on the two sites before the board selects a site this spring.
Multnomah County to issue Survey Fee Refund
Multnomah County will issue $4 refunds to people and organizations that paid survey fund fees between July 28 and Oct. 17, 2016. A $4 fee decrease was not programmed into software until Oct. 17.
