Meeting Information

Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (“The Council”) meetings are usually held monthly on the 4th Monday from 1:30-3pm in the Multnomah County Boardroom (501 SE Hawthorne Blvd) with a virtual option.   These meetings are public and posted on the Multnomah County Board Meeting page.

March 2, 2026 (note this replaces the February meeting)

At the March 2nd meeting, LPSCC welcomed Jon Sarre and gave appreciation to Grant Hartley. The first elections for LPSCC Chair and Vice Chair resulted in Commissioner Julia Brim-Edwards as LPSCC Chair and Commissioner Vince Jones-Dixon as Vice Chair. The remainder of the meeting was dedicated to the Corrections Grand Jury Report.

March 30, 2026 (note this is the 5th Monday in March)

The March 30th agenda includes:

  • A legislative session briefing from County and Portland Government Relations;
  • A discussion about HB1145 funding;
  • A presentation and discussion of our crime trends proposal.

April 27, 2026

The April agenda included approving the new LPSCC Executive Committee members; discussing proposed public safety budgets, including the public safety budgets for the cities in Multnomah County; discussing pretrial shared goals and planning for the future.
