Project Description

This project is improving safety across the county by upgrading curve warning signs to national standards.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has issued updated standards for curve warning signs. The new standards use modern technology to measure safe speeds. They account for changes in vehicle safety and driving habits. All curve signs on highways across the country must meet these new standards.

Traffic Impacts

In some locations, construction may require lane closures with flaggers to direct traffic. There may be delays of up to 15 minutes at times.
