Project Description
We are making safety improvements to SW 257th Avenue to make it easier and safer for all users to get around the corridor. SW 257th is one of the most heavily traveled roads in Troutdale and provides an important connection to I-84 and US 26.
We are repaving the road, installing new lighting, and building new curb ramps throughout the corridor. Other options were designed based on the community's input. These include pedestrian crossings, better bike lanes, improved bus stops and more.
Traffic Impacts
See This Week In Roads for weekly updates.
During construction, there will be single lane closures between SE Stark Street and Historic Columbia River Highway.
Please be careful and drive slowly when workers are present.
