All benefit-eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a County-paid long-term disability insurance plan. A short-term disability plan and a long term care insurance plan may also be available. Eligibility for, and the specific terms and conditions of these programs may vary, depending upon employee group.

- Optional Short-Term Disability (employee-paid)
- Available for full-time staff in Local 88, IUPAT, MCCDA, DSA, FOPPO, JCSS, or ONA employee groups. Request enrollment through Workday or by emailing us (employee.benefits@multco.us).
- Short-Term Disability (County-paid)
- Available for IUOE, IBEW, Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Prosecuting Attorneys and Non-Represented employee groups. Auto-enrolled.
- Long-Term Disability (County-paid)
- For all permanent employees. Auto-enrolled.
- Optional Long Term Care (employee-paid).
- Available for Local 88, Physicians, Pharmacists, Dentists, MCCDA, ONA, and non-represented employee groups. Request enrollment by emailing us (employee.benefits@multco.us).
