Eligibility

Individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

  • 18 or older
  • US Citizen
  • Meet Service Priority Level 1-18
  • Income at or below 400% federal poverty level
  • Resources equal to or less than 6 months of nursing facility costs
Overview:

Oregon Project Independence - Medicaid (OPI-M) provides access to limited, preventive in-home services to older adults and adults with disabilities who require assistance with activities of daily living. The purpose of OPI-M is to provide support to individuals so they may remain independent, in their own homes and delay or prevent the need for full Medicaid long term services.
