- Location: NW Reeder Road crossing at Dairy Creek (see map)
- Schedule: September to December 2026
- Estimated Cost: $2.7 million
- Funding Source: County road funds
Project Description
We will install a culvert under NW Reeder Road at Dairy Creek Slough. This will replace the culverts that partially collapsed in early 2022 and created large sinkholes in both lanes.
In 2022, we made temporary repairs to reopen the road. The work in 2026 will permanently repair the damage.
Traffic Impacts
We will build a one-lane detour road around the work area to keep Reeder Road open during construction. The detour road will be a minimum of 12 feet wide.
Reeder Road will be reduced to one lane starting September 15 while we build the detour road. Traffic will switch to the detour when it is ready, and it will remain in place through December 31, 2026.
We will install temporary stop signs for the duration of the work, and flaggers will direct traffic at times. When flaggers aren't present, please use caution and treat the detour road as a two-way stop.
