Urban East Multnomah County Transportation Safety Action Plan

Our community deserves streets where everyone feels welcome and safe. That’s why Multnomah County and local city governments have created a coordinated Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP).

Project Description

Developed through extensive community input and analysis, the Urban East Multnomah County Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) identifies key safety challenges and proposes actionable strategies with the goal of eliminating traffic-related injuries and deaths by 2035. This plan was funded by the federal Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant program. Our goal is to create safer streets for everyone, whether they are walking, biking, driving, or using public transit.

Final Plan and Summaries

The final TSAP includes detailed analyses, prioritized actions, and performance measures designed to guide our safety efforts over the coming years.

For a concise overview of the plan's objectives and strategies, please refer to the Executive Summaries, which are now available in six languages:

Resolutions

The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the TSAP on Jan 15, 2025. Agency partners will continue to work together to put this plan into action and strategically advocate for funding to reach its Vision Zero Goal in east Multnomah County.
