Carlos Chavez is a volunteer with the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice.
"Carlos has been facilitating culturally specific groups about Latino Culture in DELH for over a year. All youth are welcome to attend this educational and interactive group. Carlos brings with him a plethora of knowledge about popular culture, history, pro-social skill development and community connection. The youth leave his groups inspired and empowered to consider making positive changes in their lives. Morpheus Youth Project, Carlos’ organization, is available to youth upon their release to support effective transition back into the community."
