Chair Jessica Vega Pederson’s Executive Budget was presented to the Board of County Commissioners on April 25, 2024. The Final FY 2025 Budget is scheduled to be adopted on June 6, 2024 at the regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners.

You may use the form below to:

  1. Sign up to testify during Multnomah County's three public budget hearings.
  2. Submit written comments or suggestions about the County's proposed budget.

The three public budget hearings are currently scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, May 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be a hybrid hearing held virtually and at the Multnomah Building (501 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland)
  • Wednesday May 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be an in-person hearing at Y.O.U.TH PDX (16126 SE Stark St., Portland).
  • Wednesday, May 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be a virtual hearing.

Meeting dates and times are subject to change.

Members of the public can watch a live stream of each public budget hearing on the Multnomah County Board YouTube channel. For instructions on calling in by phone to listen to a budget hearing, visit the Board Clerk’s website.

    Testify virtually

    †Non-departmental offices are primarily smaller policy offices that serve the entire organization, including: the Office of Community Involvement, Office of Emergency Management, Office of Diversity and Equity, Complaints Investigations Unit, Office of Sustainability, Office of Government Relations, Office of Communications, Office of the County Attorney, and the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council.

    You will receive an email the day before your chosen date containing information about joining the virtual public budget hearing.

    When your name is called, the Board Clerk will unmute your microphone. Public comment is limited to 3 minutes or less per person, unless otherwise stated at the meeting. The Board Clerk will announce the end of your allotted time. You will be allowed to finish your sentence before your mic is muted.
