Multnomah Idea Lab logoGovernment is the place where we choose to work in revolutionary love to eliminate the structures of white supremacy that have harmed our Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color and immigrant communities, and to design racially just and equitable futures where all thrive.

Areas of work

The Multnomah Idea Lab (MIL) was a learning lab located within Multnomah County’s Department of County Human Services, seeking innovative policy approaches at the intersection of poverty and racism in partnership with internal and external partners. Our practice was grounded in the principles of Equity - and Human-Centered - Collaborative Design, Critical Thinking, and Applied Research.
