Racism is a public health crisis, but how do we shift racism within? Healthy Homes & Communities program staffer and yoga teacher Danielle Marie Jones will lead a guided meditation to consider how the characteristics of white supremacy culture might show up for you. Breathe and move towards liberation and collective well-being. No prior yoga experience needed. Bring a yoga mat or towel, bolster or pillow, curiosity—and an open heart!

Celebrate Public Health Week with food, art and movement! Join public health staff and partners as we walk from Vance Park to Rockwood Market Hall, where we’ll break bread and meet BIPOC vendors. At 2:30pm, artist Daren Todd will create a live canvas with the group inspired by the theme “a world without violence.” Held in partnership with our Prevention & Health Promotion Program.
