Multnomah County and Metro invite small businesses to a free open house on February 22 from 3 to 6 pm at the Oregon Convention Center's lobby E, at 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The "Let's Get Down to Business" open house offers a chance for small businesses in the region to introduce themselves to project managers and purchasing staff from the two agencies, and learn about business opportunities in 2017.
Breakout workshops will cover such topics as:
- Marketing and branding
- How to do business with Metro and Multnomah County
- Upcoming projects showcase -- transportation
- Back office operations
- Proposal consultant with the pros
The event is also an opportunity to learn about how to certify a business as a minority, women or service-disabled veteran-owned business, or emerging small business.
