News release: Multnomah County Assessor implements new software for 2018 property tax assessments

October 9, 2018

Multnomah County property owners will soon see their real and personal property tax statements and value notices. About 300,000 property owners should receive mailed statements from the Multnomah County Division of Assessment, Recording and Taxation between Oct. 15 and Oct. 25, 2018.

The Multnomah County Assessor is reminding property owners to review their property statements soon. The Division recently replaced its property assessment and taxation software that is used to produce all property tax statements. All prudent and reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the new system.

However, in the event you have questions about your statement, we’ve created a hotline to review and respond to any issues in a timely manner. The hotline is 503-988-2565.

Please leave a detailed message, including your name, a return phone number, your property identification (i.e. address or account number) and a brief statement about the issue you've observed. We will call you back to discuss your concerns and work to resolve the matter.
