Welcome to the third installment of our series of self-guided tours through the County. Each itinerary features notable (but not always noticed) locations in a certain region. We've provided the route and directions. Along the way, you'll see items from the Archives' collection, and read stories that shed light on the significance of each site.

Since it's winter, we wanted to keep it slightly easier to navigate, so we've brought it in to Downtown and the West Hills. Be careful commuting in the winter weather.

In this segment of Tour de Multnomah, read about the early origins and activities of the County, and some of it's famous, some might say infamous, residents.

So power up your pedals, dust off your ride, or saddle up your pony. Off we go!

To start the route from the beginning, go to Sight #1 Canyon Road.
You can also start at any stop along the route, and move east or west from your starting point.
