Bud Garrison is a volunteer with Multnomah County Animal Services and winner of a 2015 Volunteer Recognition Award.
“Bud started volunteering in the dog kennels in March of 2012. He works every other Sunday enriching the time the dogs have until they are adopted. Bud recently became a mentor in our dog training program. He and his wife, Danni also help out with our foster program. They like the seniors the best and have adopted two of them. These dogs really get to experience their golden years in their home. If we get a call to participate in an outreach, Bud is the go-to guy. He talks up the shelter, sells mugs and t-shirts and has a great time being our representative.”
