This new video highlights County CROPS, an innovative project combining the efforts of volunteers and community service workers and the generosity of local businesses to produce fresh vegetables on county-owned land for local food banks.

In its first year, 2009, CROPS farm produced over 13000 pounds of healthy food for hungry families and individuals.  During the 2010 growing season, volunteers working under the guidance of Farmer Dan Bravin doubled the size of the farm and hope to reap twice as much produce.
