Multnomah County is delaying the start of an immunization clinic scheduled for today, Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Today’s clinic is now scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East County Building, in Gresham (map). Families are encouraged to check the county website and social media Wednesday before going to the clinic to ensure county offices have not closed due to weather.

This clinic is the third in a series help families make sure their children have their vaccinations or proof of a non-medical exemption by today, Feb. 21 to avoid being excluded from school. State law requires that all children in schools, preschools and child care facilities have current records of immunization by Feb. 21.

Multnomah County also offers immunizations throughout the year at the Communicable Disease Services Clinic downtown. Children ages 5 to 18 can also get vaccinations for no out-of-pocket cost at any of Multnomah County’s Student Health Centers.
