Recycling: Behind the Scenes (Earth Month event)

Ever wondered where recycling goes after it leaves your house or workplace? Or why some things are allowed in Portland’s recycling and others aren’t?

Lindsey Maser, from the City of Portland’s Sustainability at Work program will explain how Portland’s recycling system works, and view behind-the-scenes footage of how recycling gets sorted and prepped to be made into new products.
