Energy efficiency is one of the most cost effective ways to lower carbon emissions, and is a critical strategy in achieving 100% renewable sources of energy. However, ensuring that all members of our community benefit from investments in energy efficiency is a major challenge. This is especially true for people in low income households who are the most burdened by high energy costs.

Attendees can expect a wide ranging conversation about the opportunities and challenges of delivering energy efficiency to underserved community members, and how low income communities can help drive the conversations around the low carbon economy and energy efficiency.

Experts from the Community Energy Project, NAYA, Earth Advantage, and the Energy Trust of Oregon will join us to share their experiences and insights into what's working, what’s not, and how we can work together to ensure that energy efficiency programs benefit all members of the community.
