Name: Community Involvement Committee Meeting

As required by the County Code, the Community Involvement Committee (CIC) engages in ongoing study and discussion of the county’s priorities, programs, and procedures, including the county budget process. The committee makes recommendations to the Board and county departments about opportunities for community engagement and reducing barriers to participation.

Regular CIC meetings are open to the public. Executive Sessions are not open to the public.

Topics of the May 15th meeting may include:

  • Public comment
  • Next Steps on Mediation/Clarifying Roles
  • Update from Bylaws, Policies & Procedures Subcommittee
  • Update from the Recruitment, Outreach & Nomination Subcommittee
  • CIC Officer Elections
