Would you like to have a voice in recommending improvements to the behavioral health system? This is an open invitation to behavioral health consumers and peers who would like to participate in our meetings. We welcome people with diverse life experiences. We especially want to hear from individuals in our BIPOC communities in order to better meet their needs and recommend ways to reduce disparities.

Please come and see the groups in action!

The Council is made up of 29 members, including consumers, peers, advocates and community service providers. It is a virtual meeting on the first Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. - noon. Participants must attend three meetings prior to running for election. A $25 stipend is available for consumers/advocates whose participation is not paid for by their employer.

The Community Workgroup meets virtually on the third Friday of the month from 1 - 3 p.m. to learn more about behavioral health issues and recommend goals to the Council. Participation is open to all consumers and peers - there are no membership requirements. A $25 stipend is also available.

To learn more about these groups, and receive a link to attend the meetings or join our mailing list, please contact Lynn.smith-stott@multco.us or call 971-271-2543.
