We're hiring experienced focus group facilitators/qualitative researchers
The Multnomah County Department of Community Justice (DCJ) Research & Planning unit is looking to create a pool of qualified consultants to help facilitate periodic focus groups and key informant interviews. Schedule and hours will vary by project and consultant availability. Activities will be conducted in a variety of government buildings and community-based settings throughout Multnomah County. Participants in the research include public safety officials, parole/probation officers, adults and juveniles on community supervision, crime victims, and community stakeholders. Qualified applicants will have experience developing rapport with diverse audiences and leading structured conversations through an established, research protocol. Additional familiarity with institutional review boards, qualitative coding, and qualitative analysis techniques is a plus. Preferred candidates will have direct experience working with young adult populations and/or communities of color.
