Juvenile Services Division (JSD) Quick Facts Published December 2015

On behalf of the Multnomah County Juvenile Services Division of the Department of Community Justice (DCJ), we are pleased to publish our first annual report to the community members we serve. We believe that our juvenile justice system is a reflection of the current and future well-being of our county. Our Quick Facts are easy to reference and show how investments in juvenile justice impact youth, as well as areas of future growth and improvements.

EPICS Implementation Report Published November 2015

With a number of states implementing reforms to save money from long prison stays, jurisdictions around the country are realizing they have more resources available to enhance their delivery of community supervision. EPICS is one tool that should be considered as more resources are invested in supervision services. The main goal of this report is to serve as a guide for those jurisdictions interested in adopting this model. Included in this report is background of EPICS and our steps to implementation. We welcome more conversation and discussion around our implementation of EPICS and are happy to share more about our work.

Multnomah County Juvenile Crime Prevention Data Summary, 2011-2013  Published February 2015

This report is the result of a partnership between NPC Research and the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice, Juvenile Services Division. The purpose of this report is to highlight the impact of Juvenile Crime Prevention state funds (2011-2013 biennium) at the local level. Unlike similar state-level reports produced by NPC Research, all of the youth in this document were served in Multnomah County.

An Examination of Multnomah County's RAIN Program and START Court Published December 2014

This report provides descriptive information about the RAIN (Recidivism Addiction Intervention Network) and START (Success Through Accountability, Restitution and Treatment Drug Court) programs, such as population served and services provided. It examines recidivism outcomes for the RAIN and START programs, both of which serve similar populations within Multnomah County.
