REFORM!
THE CORBETT WATER DISTRICT

Doug Geller supports District expenditures and improvements that directly affect the quality and reliability of the customer’s drinking water supply. Topping the list is replacement of ancient and badly leaking pipes, a job that will take years. At the bottom of the list are luxury items the District can live without like new trucks or an expensive new district headquarters.

Corbett already has some of the highest water rates in the region. It is time to stop wasting the money from recent rate increases. Doug and his running mates will ONLY support projects that provide the best value to the customer. We will keep District costs, and thus water rates, as low as possible.

DOUG GELLER PUTS CUSTOMERS FIRST and is committed to open public processes and accountability for all public officials. Speaking of accountability, despite almost doubling of water rates in the past three years, very little investment has been made in the water system, instead we have seen the district add staff, purchase new vehicles, and hire one consultant after another.

Doug knows the water business: he works for the state’s largest public supplier of water, is responsible for the second largest supply of water in Oregon, and is a professional public utility manager with a NO-NONSENSE APPROACH.

Please vote for the NEW TEAM dedicated to economy and reform. With your support on May 20th, we will succeed.
