Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because I am passionate about youth empowerment and having youth voices heard. There's a lot of social injustices that are important to me and being able to advocate on them inspires me to continue pursuing change.
What are your passions/hobbies?
I love to bike, practice playing my clarinet and violin, listen to music, talk to my family, friends, and meeting new people and learning new perspectives!
Name one youth you admire and why?
I have admire Malala Yousafzai since I first read about her and her fight in promoting education. She's a strong empowered woman that has gone through a lot to get her message out there.
What is an issue/movement that is important to you?
Immigration reform is something I feel strongly about. Everyday parents, children, families are being torn apart. There are more and more stories on the news of kids finding out that their parents have been taken away. I hope to help in anyway I can to change that.
