Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because I was inspired by all that had been accomplished in previous years and I was amazed to see what an impact youth could have in their community. I was very interested in the issues that were currently being addressed as well and saw great opportunity in being able to collaborate and create sustainable outcomes with many motivated young people.
What is one goal you have for the next year on the MYC?
I would like to see our committee’s work move forward with action, in creating change through the research and focus groups we have done in the last 3 years and the program offer we have developed through many community interactions.
