Why did you join the MYC?
I joined the MYC because I want to be able to collaborate and create meaningful solutions to issues in my community.
What are your passions/hobbies?
Some of my hobbies are hiking, photographing, art.
Name one youth you admire and why?
I admire Yara Shahidi because she uses her platforms to bring awareness to social issues and always advocate in a way that isn’t overbearing to marginalized people.
What is an issue/movements that is important to you?
The Yiakl moment is important to me because members of the Eritrean Diaspora are using their privilege to bring awareness to the oppressive regime in Eritrea and the torturous practice of national service in Eritrea that hurts youth and the country as a whole.
