A section of SE Telford Road between SE 252nd Ave. and SE Callister Road just south of Gresham will be closed from 7 am on Friday, March 11 until as late as Saturday, April 9 while a contractor installs infrastructure under the road for a new residential subdivision called Telford Estates.
Access to the closed section of road will be maintained for local traffic and emergency vehicles. The closure will allow contractor Moore Excavation, Inc. to install large diameter pipes for water, storm, and sanitary infrastructure for the new subdivision. Flaggers will direct local traffic during work hours.
The signed detour route uses roads to the west of Telford Road: 252nd Ave. to McNutt Road to Kane Road to Rugg Road to 267th Ave. to Telford Road.
Multnomah County maintains this section of SE Telford Road which will be transferred to the City of Gresham this year. For information about Multnomah County roads, visit multco.us/roads.
